The main issue of this contest is quite simple: You choose one stanza of a classic poem and make a doll inspired by it.

I understand by "classic poem" any kind of poem that follows a classic
structure (sonnet, i.eg.) or that was produced before 1920's.

Yep. It's only
ONE strophe of the poem. Nor less nor more.
Yet, you can use
haikus and other one-strophed poems.

The entry must have at least one
base, even if it's made by you, and it should not be too small. There is no file size limit, but please try too keep its width lower than 280 pixels.

The file (with transparent background only)
may contain more than one doll and other props, in order to make a good scene, but this can either help or trouble you, so be cautious.

You do
not need to put the text you used as inspiration on the image file.

I will prize the most
creative and inovative ones. There's no need to make a classic-looking doll.

Nudity, sex, blood and other things like that are
permitted.
 

Ryoshi is a male doller from Brazil.
He has a major in
Literature and a minor in WebDesign, liking poetry and painting alike. He started dolling back in 2004 and prefers a more realistic approach to the theme, wich he tends to execute at Adobe Photoshop, pixel by pixel. Talking about visual arts, he likes Pop and Op art, as well as Baroque.
He welcomes averyone to
C+C and enjoy the site — and apologises for using the third person.

General Rules

4- If you like, when you use a base, you can let me know by sending me the link to your work.

2- You may not redistribute bases;
3 - If you use a base, please give me credits and try to link back;
4 - You may edit, recolor and reshade bases if you know what you're doing;
5- Never use cut out parts of any base;
6 - Once you edited a base, you may not redistribute it.
1 - Upon adopting a doll, link me back;
2 - Some dolls here are not for adoption. To know which ones, leave the mouse over it for a couple of secs;
3 - If you wish to adopt a non-doll, please tell me first where you plan to use it and link me back;
4 - Do not direct-link anything. If you adopt something, save it on your own server.
